Rusresorts is to team up with the company Osobyye Ekonomicheskie Zony (OEZ) to put up Bychya Gora mountain ski resort near the Lake Baykal. OEZ will develop the transport infrastructure and engineering networks while Rusresorts will build 29 ski slopes, 10 ski lifts and a golf course.
Apart from this, the latter company will develop a hotel and low rise residential housing. The total investment will amount to RUB 32bn (€800m) and the construction is to be completed in 2019.
As Russian Construction Review reported on a previous occasions, the concept of the Bychya Gora resort is designed by Canadian Ecosign and US Aecom companies. Overall, the resort is to take up 2,340 ha with 500,000 m2 taken by construction objects.
