In the center of Moscow are going to construct 5 stations of the underground

The government of Moscow consider possibility of a construction of five additional stations of the underground in the capital center, Maxim Liksutov, the head of department of transport of Moscow told to journalists. The matter is that at subway construction last century, specially created reserves for additional future stations of the underground. Under the capital center now such preserved stations eight, five from which it is possible to start up in work.

"It will be not exits, and the presents high-grade station of the Moscow subway", - the head of department emphasized.

According to mister Liksutov, now cost of construction of new stations miscalculates department of transport.
It explained that these stations were already prepared in order that in the future to dig a tunnel and to begin their construction. But in recent years some of them filled in with concrete on 20-30 meters, thereby "having killed infrastructure".

The authorities of Moscow allocate very important role for underground development in fight against jams. Thus development of the subway follows the account of continuation of existing lines and construction of the third transfer contour. Besides, new station it is decided to construct on the operating Ring line.

The mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin who actively started the solution of transport problems of the capital, set the task to accelerate speed of construction of the subway and to construct more than 70 kilometers of lines by 2015. In 2012 for development of Moscow Metro it is allocated more than 100 billion rubles that almost twice more than in 2011.
