In Moscow have begun building of 20 orthodox temples

In our capital for today building of 20 orthodox temples has begun, and on 50 sites working out of projects is conducted, the deputy of the State Duma and the director of advisory council for town-planning activity Vladimir Resin has informed. Mister Resin watches realization of the special program of building of 200 orthodox temples in Moscow which are constructed on fast technology.


Resin as has noticed that Muscovites very seldom oppose erections of temples, in the majority people positively perceive this program and active in it participate. But there, where inhabitants protest against temple building, it won't erect, after all neither the city, nor church don't intend to be at war with the people.

The construction program in Moscow 200 churches assumes erection not only temples, but buildings for social and missionary work. Program realization in April of last year when Sergey Sobjanin and patriarch Cyril have put the first stone in the temple basis in memory of victims of act of terrorism on Dubrovke has begun. Temples at the expense of investors and parishioners are constructed. Program realization is calculated for 8-10 years.
